Weather It Is (Where did that storm go?)

That's a good question. 

The latest forecasts still show a short period of very cold air moving into our area on Thursday -- and in fact this period of cold air may bring a heavy burst of snow.  However, the ensemble forecast is now clustering around a warmer forecast than before, and a glance at the weather maps shows the coldest air plunging southward a bit too far westward.

However, it's only Sunday and we'll see just how much stock we should place in the forecast so far in advance.
