Weather It Is (Cold and Wet)

The weather is going to get stormy, and it's going to get wet.  In fact, the next 10 days look wet, which is a bit ironic because the latest seasonal forecast indicates a drought for our area.

The first storm will sweep across our area in the next few days, and then by mid-week it should be followed by an even colder (and wet) storm. Hopefully, the Hermon will be able to open after this is all said and done -- as they say.

Interestingly, there is forecast to be extremely, extremely cold air situated over far eastern Europe and western Russia during the time of the second storm.  If some of this cold air breaks further south, there could be the first snow.  Of course, that a big if -- but the rain isn't.
