Weather It Is (Heavy Rain)

Good Afternoon:

The forecast for Saturday evening into Sunday looks to be quite rainy.  Our 4 km forecast is predicting 50--100 mm of rain during this period in the coastal regions. The rain will develop in response to low pressure forming off the coast late Saturday afternoon.  Rain will spread inland towards the central mountains, although lesser amounts will likely occur.

These storms will likely be accompanied by lightning strikes. Stay away from open spaces and/or isolated trees. 

The next rain event will probably arrive late next week.
