Weather It Is (Whiplash)

Good Afternoon:

The temperature is  a cool 20 C. The winds are 23 km/h making for a chill in the air.  This morning it was 14 C, compared to 37 C on Wednesday. A bit of whiplash?

A trough over the eastern Mediterranean and high pressure over Europe will combine to bring cool northerly winds into Sunday.

Then, the "winter" hold on our weather will weaken and low pressure over the Saudi desert will slowly reassert itself.  However, the high pressure area will still be present over central Europe and the two conflicting weather systems will mean that we're left in a bit of stand-off.  Not summer, not winter, but not exactly spring either.

In any case, it will be good soccer playing. I encourage all Israelis living over the old green-line (armistice line) to get out with their soccer ball and play.
