The rain should continue today, heaviest over the central areas. Tonight and Friday, the rain should build again over the whole country.
The temperatures aloft will remain cold until early afternoon, so we'll continue to have the possibility for graupel, or very wet snow (as we just had a few moments ago). However, as temperatures in the lower atmosphere are not ideal for "Dendrite" growth, any frozen precipitation should be more like graupel (ice-cubes). We don't anticipate any icing problems in the central mountain areas (basically, the model forecast temperatures were quite good).
Friday's storm will be quite wet, but a few degrees warmer. Then, temperatures will warm up until about mid-week, when another similar storm will threaten our area.
