Weather It Is (Sweet Sauce)

Good Evening:

Our fine winter (or is it early spring) weather will continue another day, and then temperatures will turn sharply cooler.  But, then they'll seesaw upwards as a tropical rain system moves in at the end of the week. This system could bring a period of heavy rain, especially to southern areas.

After the passage of the tropical system, temperatures will trend downwards again.  Currently, our long range ensemble suggests that a rain system is on the way for the the end of the month, or the beginning of next month.  No snow (other than at the Hermon) is expected.

By the way,  I believe that Israel is the only country where one can make apple sauce from apples that are so sweet one doesn't need to add sugar.  On the other hand, one can also choose a tart apple that requires sugar -- unless tart is the preference.  I credit our unique weather which (in a good year) provides plenty of moisture followed by days of sunshine.  There really is no "middle" in Israel: not when it comes to weather, politics, or even the food.
