Weather It Is (A Week Ahead)

Good Morning:

The storm of the past few days will linger today, as a reinforcing shot of moisture will bring light rain in the center and between 10 to 25 mm along the coast (including Tel-Aviv).  There will also be light rain (< 10 mm) in the vicinity of the central mountains.

Tomorrow (Monday) will be a more pleasant day, but rain will impact the north on Tuesday.  Over the next few days, the total rain amounts in the northern mountains, including the Kinneret basin will be 10 to 25 mm, with locally higher amounts.

There is strong flow across the Mediterranean, around the mass of really cold air to our north. The winds will shift slightly more to the south, and  hence, the he temperatures will become mild by the end of the week. A storm moving across the Mediterranean should bring rain at the end of the week.

We don't see any really strong cold for the next two weeks.
